Organized by former OSA students, and former players, OSA's teams have triumphed in the league of high schools in the. Particularly the men's soccer team, which captured the annual cup in 1994-95 and 1995-96 school years. Unfortunately, the men's soccer team was only able to reach the playoffs in 1996-97. The women's soccer team is excellent but lacks aggressiveness which prevented their chances to win. OSA soccer teams carry out the motto of "Olympians" to show the inferior schools that we are the masters of the sport. Badminton Teams Another popular sport in Old Scona is Badminton. Teams are being organized and trained at the present time and are hoping to win against other schools. Other Teams? Unfortunately, Old Scona Academic High School does not have a gymnasium. We must rent other spaces to practice sports. As a result, Old Scona does not participate in many of the sports of the School Board. Sports such as volleyball and basketball are popular, thus in the future, OSA will become a strong regional competitor.
